Holiday Lights Recycling Event
Cohen makes it simple to recycle your unwanted or non-working decorative lights. Join us and our local partners this year in keeping lights out of landfills and reducing waste as you celebrate the holidays.
Drop off lights Nov 1. - Feb 1
Cohen has partnered with local organizations to make it simple for area residents to recycle their unwanted or non-working decorative lights. For the 2020-2021 holiday season, we have more participating locations than ever! Keep scrolling to find the location closest to you.
All kinds of string lights are accepted during this event, including traditional and LED-style bulbs. Other electric holiday yard decorations, such as a projector or the motor on an inflatable character, may be recycled at a Cohen Recycling Center – visit the Find a Location page and call ahead for more information on recycling these items.
Leave lights loose (no boxes or bags)
You can help streamline the recycling process by including ONLY lights (no other recyclables or scrap) and by taking your boxes, bags and other containers back with you. We appreciate your help!
